Bidvest Noonan, Ireland’s market-leading facilities services provider and Enable Ireland Disability Services, are delighted to announce their new charity partnership for the next two years. The agreement will see Enable Ireland become Bidvest Noonan’s official charity partner.
As one of Ireland’s largest employers, Bidvest Noonan is passionate about social initiatives that help people, particularly disadvantaged and underrepresented groups. They chose to support Enable Ireland because they share their passion for ensuring all individuals have the support to achieve their full potential. Enable Ireland provides free services to over 13,000 children and adults with disabilities and their families across 40 locations in 14 counties throughout Ireland. Their mission is to work in partnership with those who use their services to achieve maximum independence, choice and inclusion in their communities. A core element of the partnership with Enable Ireland, is to work alongside them to identify fundraising and volunteering opportunities for their colleagues across Ireland. Both organisations will produce a calendar of events for contracts to select fund raising opportunities and will set up a dedicated JustGiving page. Bidvest Noonan will support Enable Ireland on three fronts: volunteering activities to improve facilities, fundraising activities throughout the year and suitable employment opportunities to service owners. All funds raised by Bidvest Noonan will be ringfenced to support vital projects in Enable Ireland’s children’s service centres across the country. One of the key goals is to support the Charity to raise funds for the refurbishment of its Galway centre, which supports over 700 children with disabilities across that region. This building was designed for children with physical disabilities 24 years ago and is in need of refurbishment both from a wear and tear perspective and importantly to accommodate children with intellectual disabilities and Autism with an appropriate setting to meet their needs. Bidvest Noonan will be helping to fund this vital project to support children and young people with disabilities for years to come. Commenting on the new charity partnerships announcement, Bidvest Noonan’s ESG Director, John King, said: “We’re proud to launch this charity partnership with Enable Ireland. We believe that Enable Ireland’s work is vital, and we are delighted that Bidvest Noonan can help support them to create a better future for children with disabilities in Ireland.” Further to the announcement, Enable Ireland’s National Fundraising Manager Dónal Kitt said: “We’re delighted to launch this partnership with Bidvest Noonan which will support our essential services for children and young people with disabilities. After a challenging number of years, we look forward to working with Bidvest Noonan on a number of events and activities to raise funds for crucial projects in our children’s service centres. |
