Bank of Ireland has launched its inaugural Responsible Business Report. The report contains a detailed overview of the current initiatives and business practices that comprise responsible business in Bank of Ireland across five pillars: customers; community; colleagues; environment and governance.
Speaking at its launch, CEO Richie Boucher stated:
“While the report contains many interesting elements, the stand out feature for me is that there is so much happening across the Group. One of the seminal moments over the past couple of years was when we confirmed that we had repaid the State Aid we received from the Irish taxpayers. It was uplifting to see Give Together, which is at the heart of our support for communities and is driven by colleagues across the Bank, put into action. I was also particularly invigorated by the large numbers of colleagues participating in our Be At Your Best programme, which is going from strength to strength and is about promoting employee wellbeing.”
