10 years of Partnership: Celebrating a momentous milestone

This month, BITCI was delighted to celebrate the achievements of 7 companies: Boots, Cornmarket, DHL Global Forwarding, Fujitsu, Gas Networks Ireland, MetLife, and Workday. The seven companies celebrated the momentous milestone of 10 years in partnership with their local school.

The celebration marked the dedication, work, and motivation of both the businesses and their partnering schools. BITCI are delighted to be able to work alongside these fantastic partnerships and foster another 10 years of long lasting and transformative partnerships.

Boots and Collinstown Community College

Celebrating 11 years, Boots and Collinstown Community College have been partnered since 2011. Boots have gone on to remarkably partner with seven additional schools throughout the country, with more post primary partnerships than any other business in Ireland.

One of Cornmarket’s many partnerships and partnered in 2010, Cornmarket and St. Paul’s CBS celebrated 12 years of success. Cornmarket are also funding the Management Excellence for Principals series since 2009.

Fujitsu and St. Joseph’s Rush:

The launch with Fujitsu in 2011 was exceptional and they have since gone on to celebrate 11 years in partnership with St. Joseph’s Rush.

Gas Networks Ireland and Beneavin Community College

This 12-year partnership between Gas Networks Ireland and Beneavin College has been going strong since 2009. So strong that the school opted to host its own ceremony in a Wrap Up celebration with GNI.

MetLife and St. Joseph’s Stanhope Street:

MetLife and St. Joseph’s Stanhope Street

Partnered in 2010 and celebrating a 12 year partnership with St. Joseph’s Stanhope Street, MetLife held a virtual session live from Paris in this year’s World of Work programme. This year’s students got to hear from international leaders in the company.

Workday and St. Vincent’s Secondary School, Glasnevin:

Workday and St. Vincent’s SS, Glasnevin

After one year in Ireland, Workday set up their first partnership with St. Vincent’s in 2011. 10 years later and Workday are a rapidly expanding corporate presence in Ireland and have expanded their social impacts with the development of the Dave Duffield Scholarship for Leaving Certificate students as a college bursary. The business also participates in Time to Read locally.

DHL Global Forwarding:

Business in the Community Ireland

DHL Global Forwarding celebrating over 10 years of commitment

DHL Global Forwarding and their commitment to the Schools’ Business Partnership was also celebrated on the day. DHL Global Forwarding were partnered with Trinity Comprehensive in 2010, this partnership concluded and for the past year DHL has been partnered with St. Michael’s in Finglas.
